Mystery Shopper is someone that goes to businesses
(Restaurants, Department Stores, grocery stores,
etc...) dressed as a customer. The Mystery Shopper
would do all the functions that a customer would
do (make a purchase, eat a meal, etc...) and then
leave. The Mystery Shopper is doing a service for
a competing business. So, when the Mystery Shopper
goes to a Restaurant or Department Store their job
is to act like a customer and then report their
Customer Service findings back to the competing
business. The information that they are reporting
back to the business that hired them is used for
training purposes.
Mystery
Shoppers are quite common in the big cities. However,
